Introducing, The Peach Tree

Introducing, The Peach Tree

April 28, 2022 —

Finished. Consummatum. Manifestatum. Done. Knocked it out. Killed it. Ate the peach. My goodness… Whoot!! Party time, except I’m exhausted. One little very sexy section left when I walked in this morning at 10, and yet it took all day to do that and then study and refine little places here and there. The polish, the final edit, a brushstroke there, a brushstroke there, clean up some lines, pick off stray drips, notice where it looks odd, or god forbid, has eyes. Haha, no eyeballs allowed! Not too heavy a hand is key. Little things. Darken some branches, which actually was quite needed in the bottom section, and often is when I do trees. Maybe I’ll see something else tomorrow, but the process felt pretty complete. Very happy, me, very happy painting. We berry happy. And tired, can’t even talk anymore. We did good job!  Consummatum profundum. Hah, I’ll look that up later. Thank you Peach Tree, you are lovely.

This shot from my iPhone as I was leaving the studio. It will be a few weeks before it’s formally on the website.
