Day 9 in the Jungle

Day 9 in the Jungle

April 24, 2022 —

I’m really doing it. This is day 9 of the blog? Almost one-third of a month. Kind of shocking that I haven’t missed a day as a few times I remembered at the last minute right before lights out. Like tonight and last night. And today was day 9 on The Peach Tree as well. Finally had a nice long studio day after all these short days dealing with the IG hack and all the other garden variety hooks and ladders one has to deal with on this crazy voyage. Today’s highlight was literally a highlight. I realized the cloudy part of the sky, which was white, was too cool. So I added a subtle yellow highlight. What a difference. One of those slight but magical shifts that makes all the difference. Getting really excited. I adjusted the cloud color throughout first, then continued work in the lush lower leaves. I feel like I spent the day in a jungle.
