Big Day of Minutia

Big Day of Minutia

Aug 17, 2022, Wed — How does anyone fit all this life in? My big day of minutia is more like death by a million cuts. I need a husband, a PA, and a housekeeper. And a good night’s sleep, and no migraine. I’m going a little crazy. Today was silly in how much I did and how little the needle moved. The to-do list just keeps growing.

It always helps to eat dinner, which I haven’t done yet. I did lay on the “migraine melter” for 10 min just now, can’t say it melted my migraine. But I do feel hungry, so that is saying something.

In the middle of this big day of minutia, the editor of Enjoy Magazine called to see if I would be on their monthly radio show. A 15 min segment. TOMORROW. Oh, my God. I feel like such sh*t with this migraine. But who can say no to that? So now that is added to tomorrow. I’m sure I got in on a cancellation with this kind of notice.

The minutia? You really want to know? You are SICK

Sorry, I cannot bear going over it again. And you will die of boredom.

In the middle of it, I did run over to the studio, where I got the two new paintings signed. That gives one day to dry before driving the paintings to Sac Giclee on Friday. I ended up changing Plumeria Passion in two places. Wholesale fresh paint… which won’t be dry, ugh. But it won’t be too bad considering it was obscenely hot at 111 today. Such a dystopian feeling driving home, the smoke, the wind, the heat…

So there you have it…

My big day of excruciating minutia, the details of which I mercifully spared you. Aren’t you grateful? I hope you vote for the billboard contest. Because people need to see these nature images, giant sized on a billboard. We need a giant-sized emotional connection to nature right now. And always. It’s the key. And I need the same! Remember that long-lost concept of Sabbath? I need to start listening. I just need to figure out how to be in nature safely without the husband piece. Wherever you are…

Bring me home, Gaia…
